" Without nutrition guidance, a dancers' education is incomplete." Jennifer Muller, Artistic Director The Works
"Adrienne Stevens provided the students in our two-year Steps on Broadway Conservatory Program a comprehensive and thorough exploration into her Performing Health nutrition course. She tailored her sessions to the pertinent information for our student base comprised of young adults ages 18-24 pursuing careers in the professional dance world. As a result, the students were eager to learn the information, acknowledging its benefit for their Conservatory tenure and beyond into their professional careers. Students felt comfortable in-and-out of the classroom to bring their questions and concerns to Adrienne and they were met with the utmost respect, clarity, and professionalism. She listens and brings not only her knowledge, but her humility to suggest additional experts in her network to develop the most beneficial curriculum for students. We were confident that our students were in good hands with her expertise, and her accurate, detailed surveys, before, during, and after the course allowed us to see and measure her effectiveness and gauge where to go next. The students’ curiosity and interest to delve deeper into the subject matter encouraged us to further develop Performing Health's curriculum and offerings for next semester, future classes of the Conservatory, and our larger student population as well. Thank you Adrienne!"

"Dr. Stevens led a terrific wellness seminar entitled, “What Should We Eat and Why Should We Care?”. Her relaxed, professional style really resonated with my students, and I could tell by their questions that they were fully engaged in what she had to say. A few weeks later, one of our dancers was diagnosed with gluten allergies. Performing Health responded immediately – with a gluten-free meal plan that was prepared by a certified nutritionist, and tailored specifically to meet the student’s individual needs. I’m very grateful to Performing Health and look forward to working with Dr. Stevens again in the future."
Adrienne Telemaque, PT, Human Anatomy Instructor. Ballettschule Theater Basel, Basel, Switzerland
"Dr. Stevens‘ interactive presentation was informative, engaging and helpful to our dancers, who often grapple with time and budget constraints. She offered an informal lecture and power point presentation which highlighted food groups, healthy eating choices and overall dancer health issues. The dancers enjoyed hearing her perspective as a Juilliard alumna and a PhD".
